| Bryan Adams Close Up 2002! Its finally here.Because of security concerns we had to be at the airport 2 hours before takeoff. So we arrived by 5:55 AM! Increased security at the airport was evident. Closer searches and armed soldiers.We met our traveling companions from Townview, had some time to relax, and ATE! - of course. After a layover in Charlotte, NC we arrived at what has to be the most secure airport in the US - Washington Reagan National Airport. After settling in our hotel in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside the District of Columbia, we hopped on the metro headed for the National Air and Space Museum. We never made it. We had to stop at Union Station to, what else, EAT! |
